Hi, I'm Barbara Jones, the Founder/CEO of One2One Network.
The concept for One2One Network was developed in 2007 when I noticed a lack of resources to reach adult women and moms especially online. At the time, I was SVP of Marketing for Columbia Records and I oversaw the marketing campaigns for all genres of music projects. We were attempting to market to these women but honestly, I knew there had to be a better way. We just weren't reaching them where they REALLY were. It was especially relatable to me because I was 'smack dab' in the middle of that demo being a mom of three myself.
As I saw the decline in music sales, record labels shrinking and the need to outsource grow, I saw an opportunity to break-out on my own and build a grassroots team of socially active women who have the 'I-can't-help-myself' desire to share information about new products and services with their friends, family and colleagues.
In January 2008, One2One Network was 'born'. Our motto is simply Fun Projects, Cool Perks, Nice People because we have a wide variety of fun projects (music, books, films, food, beauty, fashion) that come with some great perks and we pride ourselves on being easy to work with and approachable. I also know with all of the pressures on today's women and moms, the last thing anyone needed was another thing to add to the 'to-do list'.
As a One2One Network member, you only join a project if you have interest in it and you pass on it if you don't. No member is penalized for not participating. It's completely up to each member. (The last thing anyone needs today is more pressure!) However, due to having quality projects, there is no shortage of proactive members involved in our projects.
Today, One2One Network has a strong executive team and has developed great relationships in social media and word of mouth as well as with brands and agencies. We're a proud member of WOMMA and follow it's Code of Ethics.
One2One Network happily resides under the umbrella of Intuition Marketing which is the parent company of other great divisions BlissDom Events, Blissful Media Group , Blissfully Domestic and BlissTV which are partnered with Allison Worthington Media.
